FleetShield handles children's data. We treat that responsibility as the core of the product, not a footnote.
Data we process
FleetShield processes student, parent, driver and vehicle records provided by the school for the purpose of operating school transport — including boarding events, trip locations, crew credentials and compliance documents.
Purpose of processing
Data is used solely to deliver transport safety, parent communication, compliance tracking and operational reporting for the contracting school. It is never sold or used for advertising.
Access control
Access is role-based. School administrators, transport leads, crew and parents each see only the records their role permits, and every privileged action is written to an audit trail.
Retention
Operational records are retained for the duration of the school's subscription and for the statutory period required for compliance evidence, after which they are deleted or anonymised on request.
Your rights
Schools and parents may request access, correction or deletion of personal data. Requests are handled through the contracting school and answered within 30 days.
